Moms preparing lunch. Night out with the girls. Rubs in the back. “I trust you”. Phone call at 3 am. Fistbumps. Long hug in the morning. Cat cuddled up next to me. Laughing at each other jokes. Lending books. Hours and hours of crying over the phone. “How can I help?”. Food delivered to room. “Where are you?”.

Sitting in the couch. One slice of pizza that was intentionally left. 16 eps of Korean drama together. Letters. 11 pm McDonalds. Sharing playlist. “I worry you.” Sending reels. First person to call. Laughing at each other’s stupidity. Green tea cream frappucino with blended cheesecake with no judge. Giving space. Emergency call.

Pinned chats. Custom-made birthday cake. Long drive. Grandma’s advice. Dad videocalling. The same frequency of oddities. Mukbang. Being understood. “Text me when you get home”. Handwritten letters. Hand-made flowers. Surprise visits. “I literally just about to call you too”. A sense of safety, serenity of knowing that they will be around no matter what.
